Information

I spent most of my childhood living out on the land. By eight years old, I was in residential school. I was born in Fort Albany (Peetabeck) in a tent. Father Leguierre had just arrived to begin his priesthood here in (Albany). My grandmother took the news to him by canoe to announce my birth. I’m told he came to our home to see me.
