Information

I recall how fresh water was collected by canoe during (spring break up). My mother and I would collect fresh water from the river in our paddle canoe. We would also gather wood (a-qua-no-tah-qua) that would wash up along the shore after the ice break up. It was near the bay (tawich) but not far from here, That’s what I remember doing.
