Information

There was an abundance of wildlife. There were so many rabbits. When I was a child, we snared so many rabbits with my mother. She used to snare many rabbits. She would harvest them and keep them in our frozen storage. She would take 5 out, thaw them, and cook them. There also were many lynx, the ones that look like cats. Do you know “pishew-ak”? (lynx) Yes I do. (translator) There where many of those. However, lynx fur was not valuable. The fur was only good for making a coat, or mittens.
